The University of Management and Technology, UNIMTECH has refused the resistance of amusing its Students and the nation with its endless endeavors of bringing alive the lost glory of our educational system in the country.

Not too long ago, it commissioned the facial recognition system, which is the first in West Africa and beyond. The facility is to have automated facial data of students at the university and also to bring to light their stance upon their stay.

As it’s widely known, the University is having satellite campuses in its name, which are Bo, Kambia, Kono, YWCA, Lunsar, and Lungi. The University has again (today) commissioned a Mining Laboratory Technology at UNIMTECH Bo campus, which is not so common in Africa. The content of the Mining Refinery Laboratory is to ensure students pursue Mining Engineering in their research, and it can also be used for external purposes. The prowess to develop the technological aspect of the students has been core for this facility, with the clear view of empowering the students with the requisite knowledge needed in a competitive market.

The strong streaming of the University to become the best is clear as demonstrated, looking at the commitment of the Proprietors in bringing modern innovative facilities for human capital development, and also equipping students to portray the best character and discipline as door openers in the global market.

The Students’ Union body of the University is streaming laughter in appraising the endless efforts and support of the Proprietor Prof. Paul G. Kamara and Proprietress Dr. Abie Paula Kamara have shown in making the students compete in today’s world. The Students body is guarantying the effective and efficient use of the hard-to-see facility.
