Overview and Learning Outcomes

With new technological advancements emerging every day, the course of Electronics & Telecommunications is quite lucrative thus, leading to a huge demand for competent and skilled graduates in the telecom industry. The field of Electronics and Telecommunications deals with core areas such as analog & digital transmission, video, voice, and data reception, electronics, microprocessors, satellite communication, and analog integrated circuits. The program provides learners with the skill set and expertise in computer architecture and microprocessors, VLSI and embedded systems, electromagnetic field theory, analog, and digital communication, digital signal processing, microwave and broadband communications.

Students will:

  • Become the electronic and telecommunication graduate with good basic knowledge, both in theory and in experiments.
  • Master the methodology for conducting research, have critical thinking and creativity; have the ability of self-learning, and studying electronics and telecommunications at the graduate level.
  • Be able to design, implement the electronic equipment, operate the telecommunication systems; manage, consult, and provide technical support on electronic and telecommunication products and projects.
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as together in groups in high-pressure environments; ability to develop and integrate into the high-quality job market.
  • Be trained to be electronic and telecommunication graduates with good specialised knowledge as well as good health and professional ethics.
